CYA and SYA brought the rivalry to the diamond

The first Summer Slugfest paired a CYA-SYA alumni softball game with a community fundraiser at Ellanor C. Lawrence Park.

Former CYA and SYA athletes met on the softball field for an afternoon built around friendly competition, family activities, and a live on-field broadcast from The Sideline.

The event supported Ellanor C. Lawrence Park Friends programs that connect local children with scholarships, summer camps, school field trips, outdoor recreation, and educational opportunities.
