Episode overview

A complete editorial overview will be added here.

Do you want to win, or do you want to last?

Week 1 survivor is a buzzsaw, and the easy favorite is not always the team that helps you win the whole thing. Scott wants the Raiders at home against Miami while they are still useful, Mark plays it safer with the Chargers, and Zack plans to spend the season betting against Cleveland, starting with Jacksonville.

The locks get bold in a hurry

Mark comes out swinging with Houston over Buffalo and, for once, nobody is rushing to fade him. Scott reluctantly lays the points with Philadelphia against Washington, while Zack backs Detroit at home against New Orleans. Three locks, three very different comfort levels, and a lot of room for somebody to hear about it next week.

Who are you actually putting in the lineup?

Javonte Williams, C.J. Stroud and Kayshon Boutte are the names to consider if you are staring at your bench and second-guessing Week 1. Then it is on to the games everybody wants to see: Commanders-Eagles, Broncos-Chiefs and 49ers-Rams, with questions about Jayden Daniels, Patrick Mahomes and two loaded NFC West teams.
